Y!Status

Y!Status allows you to share with you friends on Yahoo and MSN Messenger the music that is currently playing in WinAmp. In addition to monitoring Y!Status gives you numerous options. These include saving a list of the songs you listened to. How many times have you listened to your favorite internet radio station when a song you really enjoy is played. After the song finishes you realize you would like that song only to have noticed that the next song is now displayed. If you are like me you would prefer not to go to the broadcasters website and get inundated with popups to find the title.

As you are listening to music in WinAmp you also have the option of having a popup window tell you the information of the currently selected track. In addition, one of my favorite features. The ability to advance the track without being forced to find the WinAmp window.
